Social relationships necessary for participation in the community can be challenging for everybody at times, and they can be particularly demanding for a person experiencing mental health difficulties. The objective of this series of discussions is to work as a group to explore the individual experiences of  community life and to learn how we might better relate to community demands. It will also allow us to reflect on the nature of communities and some of the theories created to explain the impacts of community life on people. This information can be examined from a personal perspective with a view to making effective choices about community based activities.
