Being a carer, family member or friend of someone living with mental distress isn’t easy and can be exhausting.  While there can be many joys along the way, it can be a long, hard, isolating and often frightening road. In this course we learn about emotional intelligence, what it is and how you can develop it further. By increasing our knowledge it is possible to bring further understanding into our lives and the lives of those we care for.  This course is aimed at gaining insight, being involved in open discussion and hands- on activities.
